What made you try Metabolic Balance®?
Until the age of 25, I could eat and drink everything I wanted. I kept my weight relatively constant, at 412–418 lb. Then my job situation changed. I spent a lot of time in the car traveling, ate irregularly, and had no time for sports. I started to gain 11–15 lb a year. All attempts to lose weight in the long term failed.
How did you feel before Metabolic Balance®?
My health was extremely worryisome. I had severe hypertension, high blood sugar levels, depression, extreme bowel problems, and insomnia. I looked like a sumo wrestler—but without the athletic ability.
Why Metabolic Balance®?
I had tried all kinds of diets from A to Z. Through an acquaintance, I met my coach, Linda M., from in 2009. The blood test results in June 2009 showed catastrophic values: 90% of all of my blood values were out of range—90 percent!
What was your experience with the program?
I started the Metabolic Balance® program on July 1, 2009, at a weight of 346 lb. After just 5 months, I weighed an incredible 225 lb. This was unbelievable! Despite my professional workload, I kept on losing weight, and all of my blood values got back on track.
What is the biggest change since starting Metabolic Balance®?
Almost 2 years after starting the Metabolic Balance® program, I was able to take part in a half marathon. I have also participated in several triathlons and have run countless miles in preparation.
Today I weigh around 203 lb and have sensational blood values. I am still able to maintain my weight without difficulty—even though I don’t keep 100% to my plan. I just try to stick to most of the principles.
